Parent/Guardian may complete or request an NLISD Transfer Application in one of the following ways:

• Print an application from our website (link below)
• Call (903) 737-2000 to request an application be mailed, faxed or e-mailed to you; or
• Pick up an application at your child's campus

Continuing Transfers:

Transfers are approved for one school year only.  All students must re-apply each year.  The approval of a transfer does not guarantee future transfer approval for the next school year.

Factors taken into consideration for student transfers include academic performance, attendance, discipline records and space availability. 

Parents of new transfer students must provide the following:

• Current School Report Card
• Attendance Record for the prior year, including class periods if grade 7-12
• STAAR Testing Results
• Discipline History Form (linked below)

All completed transfer applications will be processed on a case-by-case basis.
