Welcome to the State & Federal Programs Department

The Federal Programs Department coordinates federal and state academic support programs by working collaboratively with stakeholders and staff. The department provides compliance and budget guidance, resources and support directly to schools related to these programs and district/school improvement goals. Additionally, the department assists in the coordination of various grants.

Vision

Our department’s vision is to implement effective systems to efficiently execute services to our students while in compliance with all federal and state mandates.

Mission

The mission of the State and Federal Programs Office is to provide our students supplemental support, services and resources in an effort to ensure the greatest opportunities in meeting the state’s performance standards and to enhance the professional growth of our staff.

Levels of Support Include:

District planning, implementation, and reporting for Federal and State Programs:
Coordinating the identification and services of all at-risk and economically disadvantaged students.
District and campus staffing focused on the supplemental, educational assistance of at-risk and economically disadvantaged students.
Monitor procedures utilized in conducting annual needs assessments and planning and implementing programs designed for school improvement,
Facilitating the comprehensive needs assessment of Federal and State programs.
Parent & Family Engagement coordination & activities
Organizing and managing summer programs: summer school, summer staff development, and summer curricula projects
