How old does my child need to be to start school?
For kindergarten, your child must be 5 on or before September 1, 2024.
For pre-kindergarten 4, you child must be 4 on or before September 1, 2024.
For pre-kindergarten 3, you child must be 3 on or before September 1, 2024.
What Do I Need to Bring to Enroll My Child?
For school enrollment, you will need child’s birth certificate, shot records, proof of residence (gas, water or electric bill), drivers license, child’s social security card, and any legal paperwork.
For pre-K eligibility, you will need your SNAP,TANF, or last three paycheck stubs for everyone in the house hold, or any other qualifying information (see below for more qualifying information)
What if we don’t qualify for Pre-K?
North Lamar offers a tuition-based pre-K if spots remain available. It is $315 a month from September 1 to May 1.

Eligibility for Pre-K
To be eligible for enrollment in a free prekindergarten class, a child must be at least three years of age on or before September 1 of the current school year (if a 3-year-old program is available) or four years of age on or before September 1 of the current school year and meet at least one of the following eligibility requirements:
Eligibility applies to three-year-olds as well.

Pre-K Registration Must Be In-Person
-Attend Kindergarten Registration April 2, 2024 from 4:30pm -6pm
OR visit Campus your child will be enrolling at, after April 2, 2024, and they can help you.

Option 1: 100% Online Registration
-Complete the online pre-registration application
-Upload all required documentation
Option 2: In-Person Fast Track
-Complete the online pre-registration application
-Submit the required documents in-person

-Attend Kindergarten Registration April 2, 2024 from 4:30pm -6pm
